permantent bluetooth pairing

[AC Question]

Out of nowhere yesterday, my Galaxy S7 brought up a screen to semi-permanently Pair with Bluetooth devices in my Paired list. I did not have any of them turned on so I did nothing with this option. I would like to find it again to permanently pair with several devices. Where is this option?

Paired devices remain so if they've already connected to each other at least once. Once they've been paired, they don't need to "discover" each other again. As far as the devices are concerned, they're already permanently paired... even if they're not connected... unless you remove them from the list. Unless they changed something with bluetooth on the S7, this is how it should work. You don't need a setting anywhere to permanently pair a device. Or... maybe I'm misunderstanding the gist of your post.
