Samsung Gear app not working on S6A

[AC Question]

Hey everyone - Been having problems with the Gear app for months now. Have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, updated, reset applications, cleared cache - contacted Samsung & still no joy. S2 is fine, does it's job, communicates with phone but when I try to hit any of the option in gear app on phone it goes where i want it then jumps back to option selection - any ideas?

Very strange - what did Samsung say when you contacted them?
