as i am using android 4.1.2 jelly bean on my samsung galaxy s2 gt I9105 i want to know that is update is possible upto what extent and how can i update tell me the process .

Looks like 4.2.2 was the latest version. Have you gone into settings and located the check for updates item? That's the best way to check to see if you have the latest version available.
