[Android] Does enabling Wifi, disable mobile data connection

[AC Question]

When enabling wifi, does my phone disable mobile data like LTE, HSDPA?
Will there be a difference in battery life, if i disable mobile data manuelly, when using wifi?

They're inactive, not disabled. MMS messages go through data not wifi. They'll activate when needed. There will be minimal battery usage difference in turning off data manually when connected to WiFi.
