Cracked the screen on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

I just got my new phone a month ago today & it is the Galaxy S7 Edge! Well yesterday I was in Foodlion shopping & accidentally dropped my phone on the hard floor right on the edge of the screen! I wanted to scream so load when I picked up my phone & seen how bad it cracked! Well my question is does anyone know about this Samsung extended warranty & will it really be worth getting because if I'm getting the right info it's 125$ for 2yrs. & then there is a deductible which I'm not sure how much or how that works but the cheapest quote I got so far from a repair shop was around 260$....Does anyone have any suggestions regarding a broken Galaxy S7 Edge & what is the cheapest way of going about getting it fixed? I'm soooo upset that I broke it before I got a protective cover! I was trying to be so careful but it's just my luck! Please help if anyone has any suggestions or has delt w/this same issue!?
