Emoji button and keyboard disappeared after factory reset

[AC Question]

My phone was encountering some problems a while back and I had no other option to factory reset. After resetting, I noticed that my emoji button had disappeared. This means: 1. I can't see the button when holding down the microphone button to find the button 2. I CAN see the emojis when a prompted keyboard comes up (like the emoji icon, floating on the right hand side, on messages). 3. I CAN receive the default Samsung emojis sent from other people.

I've tried clearing the cache and tweaking with the languages and input section in settings.

Can anybody help?
