Android 4g tablet can it be used as a GSM

Their are many tablets out their with on the go 4g data that require a sim card. What i want to know is can i use these tablets for making and receiving calls.

Lenovo yoga 3 was one that i was looking at and found no such review or information about making it GSM.
Can someone help me please i would like to get a decent branded tablet 10 inch minimum or 12 inch would be nice, that has a good battery life and good display as well as it being rocket fast.

LTE technology is a subset of "GSM". Unless you use what amounts to VOIP (Hangouts dialer, Whatsapp audio call, etc) there is no facility on a tablet to enable it as a voice device. While adding a SIM TECHNICALLY gives the device a phone number, this is purely to ID the device on the network and not to give it voice and text capabilities as a phone has.
