Syn gmail contacts to Galaxy J2

[AC Question]

Hi,
I'm having trouble synchronizing my gmail contacts to the phone. if I'm in account syn my contacts options are not visible, how do i make it visible. and also when adding a new contact i dont have the option for gmail account only have for device and sim card.

Welcome to Android Central! So you're going to Settings>Accounts-Google>[your Google account] and don't see an option for Contacts? Did your phone come with Google Play Store preinstalled? Just checking to make sure the phone is Google Play certified, since phones that were originally intended for markets that block Google services might cause this kind of problem.
