on my s8+ why am i getting pop ups constantly

no matter what i am doing all throughout the day i will get pop ups that take over my whole screen. The phone can be on the homescreen and not doing anything and i will get pop ups, i have no idea what to do to fix this problem. This the first time on any phone that i have had with this issue.

what type of pop ups? ads?

There's a flaw currently in the OS which allows apps to gain permission to use system alert windows. One of the apps you installed is causing the problem. Uninstall your recent apps one by one until you notice the issue is resolved.
