Rooted my BIONIC today. Quick and easy. Thanks so much for this.

If need ever be, what is the best way to un-root, return things to "normal?"

I can't get this to work; I ran the runme and it says I have root, but when I run Root Checker it says that I don't. I've tried doing a factory reset and then using this method, and nothing. Any advice? Am I just missing a step or something? I wasn't rooted before the OTA, btw.

Hey Everyone,

Just thought I'd post to let everyone know I've not got root access. I just got the phone today brand new from vzw stock with .893. I opened the "runme" file and everything was self explanatory from there. I ran root checker, and it said I was all rooted and good to go! Thanks for posting this for us to use. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask! Pumped up! :D

Just rooted today. I did have to run 1-click twice to complete the process.
The first time it froze before the final reboot.:D

Thanks to everyone for the great advice on this thread!
