Have a Verizon S8 or S8+, but using it on another carrier? If so then you know that Verizon loves to nag you about the fact that the SIM isn't from Verizon Wireless...No DUH! I know that already...no need to leave the constant nagging notification.
So, I set out to find a way to get rid of this. First thing I did was to long press the notification to find out the offending app. Then I went to the app manager to disable it...oh but wait...Verizon in it's infinite wisdom made it so that the app can't be disabled from the app manager. Ugh. Typical Verizon.
Good thing you can use Package Disabler to disable the app, and voila...no more nagging notification!

For those that want a free solution, you can use the XDA debloater tool to disable the same app, but keep in mind it requires a computer and is a little more complicated:
