Date and Time disappeared, how can I get it back?

Date and Time disappeared

On my edge 5 I used to have the date and time prominently displayed on the home screen. That has disappeared for no reason leaving a large gap with nothing there. I relied on being able to access that info quickly. I can't find a way to fix this.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Note Edge? S6 Edge? There is no Edge 5.

It sounds like you inadvertently removed the date/time widget. Long press anywhere on an empty part of the homescreen, tap Widgets, then select the Clock widget you want. Long press it, then drag it to the homescreen.
