I have a Motorola Droid 2 that just had me update to Version 2.3.3, and it did away with the root I had. So I tried the ways that other websites said to revert it back to the previous version, but now my phone is "bricked" (I guess that's the term). It will only turn on and gets stuck at the Droid power up screen. Can anyone help me get my phone working again and revert back to the previous version? Thanks.

When you update your phone, you will always loose root, but that doesn't mean you can't go back and reroot it. You don't need to revert back to the old version.
In order to get your phone working again you need to sbf it. Follow the instructions here> SBF Droid 2

Once you have done that I suggest updating it through settings so you have the latest version and then using this method> http://www.psouza4.com/droid3/ (it works for droid 2) to reroot it.
