Best Buy 1750 mah tested

i know there are a few people out there who, like me, want to better the battery life of their evo without increasing the size. i'm adamant about keeping the standard battery door and upon my researching other member's findings, i found this thread

post #19 (kruglov) did a very nice test on battery life. i decided to mimic the procedure and test it on the 1750mah battery purchased from Best Buy. The front of the box says "Platinum" and underneath says "Perfected Power Supply."
Upon thorough investigation, you'll see on the bottom a nice little Seidio branding; in other words, this is the seidio 1750 battery just re-branded and sold under a best buy name (lmao)
the results are as follows, in the same format as the original poster did:
1750mah battery (seidio)
15% battery left at 3 hours and 11 minute (191 minutes)
phone shut off at 3 hours and 39 minutes (219 minutes)
this compares to the prior results:
Results:
1500 mAh stock battery:
- 15%-battery-left at 2 hours 25 minutes (145 minutes)
- Phone shut off at 2 hours 56 minutes (176 minutes)

1800 mAh Chinese battery:
- 15%-battery-left at 2 hours 35 minutes (155 minutes)
- Phone shut off at 3 hours 04 minutes (184 minutes)

under the same conditions, the seidio lasted 43 minz over the standard battery and 35 minz over the chinese "1800mah" battery.

just this afternoon it dawned on me that the original test i referred to was done 7/29, prior to froyo's release.
so to make sure froyo was not responsible for the increase in battery, i'm currently testing the standard 1500 battery myself. i started at 8:02 so i'll post my results soon.

INTERESTING RESULTS:

for the hell of it, i decided to test the standard battery and the results are as follows:
1500mah battery
15% battery left at 3 hours and 7 minute (187 minutes)
phone shut off at 3 hours and 38 minutes (218 minutes

interesting results....
obviously this experiment isnt an exact science and i'm sure their are extraneous variables but my results are comparable to the prior examination.
personally, the best buy battery, imo, is not even close to worth it. even if i cranked an extra 30 minz next time, i'd rather spend either: less money on chinese batteries with similar ratings or the same amount on a car charger.

i'm going with the latter

Interesting results. How much are they selling the "store brand" batteries for? I see the Seidio one on there website but not the Platinum.
