I have a mystery app that calls itself "Battery". It is listed under my downloaded apps and is a Phone Only app. It is taking up 1.09MB, and is listed as version 1.10. It requires a ton of permissions including modify personal information, edit read and receive SMS/MMS, GPS access, GMAIL access, etc. Seems ridiculous, I know.
I have looked at my Amazon AppStore and Android Market list of applications and can't find anything that is called this that I have downloaded. I am usually careful about downloading. I can't find this Battery app listed in my appdrawer or as a widget.
I have Lookout installed on my phone and for what it's worth it says that I have no malware.
Any ideas? Could it be something important? Could someone with an Evo 4G check to see if this app is on their phone. Thanks.
