Droid X at standstill since update

My Droid X updated this past weekend and ever since my phone is almost to the point of not being able to use it as it is so slow.
Everything lags 10-15 seconds. I touch the touch screen and nothing happens for said amount.Making calls, reading texts,
Is there a setting I am missing or is my phone on its last leg?
It is a original Droid X and was doing wonderful till this update.
Can anyone help me out here!!??

Did you try shutting it off for a couple of minutes before turning it back on? Not sure how often you reboot your phone, or, if you've rebooted it since you got the update.

What version are you on now? I have a buddy with a Droid X and I can see if they got the update, and, if they did, if they have any problems.

I reboot daily in the morning.
My system version is 4.5.605
Android version 2.3.3

I hope I can figure this out.Very annoying.

Hmm, he got the update. Same versions as you. Said he had no problems. Said the keyboard felt a bit sluggish at first, but, then it went away. I hope something didn't go wrong with the install and you have a factory reset on the horizon.:'(
