Saving pics from an email to the gallery

I can do it for everything but a recent email I recieved from a friend who sent it from an apple email account, one of those @me.com accounts.

I can see all the pics, but I can't do anything with them. I wanted to save a few to my gallery to use as a screen saver.

Any ideas?

Can you "preview' them?

Yes, they show up in the body of the message pretty much full size.

It would help to know what email app you're using.

The standard android email app the phone comes with. Have tried it on a Droid Incredible and a Droid X, same thing, can see the pics int eh body of the letter but have no option to save any to the phone,

First try downloading either 'Save my Attach' or 'Blackmoon AttachSave Lite' and see if one of those will work.

If neither of those work try logging into your email account using the browser and see if you can download the attachment that way.
