How to set up the memory card?

I've read a few posts about the memory card and saving stuff to it...my question is where are you getting the media spot when I plug it in I have just a few generic folders. Am I supposed to make a media folder then add the rest in the media folder or what? I'm not the greatest on the comp but I get some basics any help would be appreciated.

First format the card on the phone for good measure. Settings --> SD Card --> Format SD Card.

Once that is done either plug the usb in and mount it or take the card out and plug it in.

Once you can see the card on the computer make a new file in the root of the card labeled "music". Drag all music files you want on the phone here.

Other files you could create if you want to get into making your own alerts and ringtones would be labeled "ringtones".
