Android is a free system, so I guess Google is earning nothing by selling Android.

But Android users are sing google search, I found this information:

Google generated $3 billion from searches made on Android devices in 2014.

I didn't find the information how much money Google make on play store. But it maybe the main part of the profit from Android.
