How do I make upper views on the screen go beneath the actionbar?

how to make upper views in screen go beneath actionbar

I have an activity with views in the upper part of the activity and multi line edittext in the lower part. When I open the soft keyboard I can use:
android:windowSoftInputMode="adjustPan",
which makes the actionbar dissapear when I open the soft keyboard.
or I can use:
android:windowSoftInputMode="adjustResize",
which makes the editText dissapear when I open the soft keyboard.

Is there another option which in, the upper views will disapear and go beneath the actionbar?
