Welcome to Android Central! Try shutting down, then powering on by pressing and holding Power and both Volume buttons at the same time until you either see a Recovery Menu or the lockscreen. If you see the Recovery Menu, select Wipe Data/Factory Reset.

Be aware, though, that Android now has an antitheft feature that requires you to enter the Google credentials of the account that had previously been used. As long as you know that Google email address and password, then you can log back into the tablet.
