Cannot save attachments from default email application
Wherever i get emails with attachments on the stock email app, i can "download" them to the phone and the progress bar shows 100%, but when I go look at the folder all the files are 0 bytes in size. Only the names are being saved but the files are blank, and of course, i cannot open them. It happened initially only with jpeg files. I did a complete reinstall of the phone and the issue persists. All the settings are correct: no limits set for download in the menus, etc. This is super frustrating and of course i could try a different mail app, but I don't understand why this android downloader got 'broken' or how to repair it. Can we replace the stock downloader with something else?
