Micro SD undetected because its defective, what can I do?

Micro SD undetected because its defective

Is there a way to recover files from a micro sd that is not detected because it is defective ? I say its defective because the sd adapter reads other micro sd cards except this one. & when I do a chkdsk scan, it says it cannot open for direct access - meaning it is not being read or recognized .... which is because it's defective. So is there ANY way to fix this ASIDE from sending the micro sd card off to some company ?

No. It does not read on any device to be mounted. Almost like it doesnt exist. I ran a chkdsk 2 days ago, the files came up. I left the card on the desk & now its not working. Idk what happened to it.
