Re-route call from web application to an internal landline?

Hi there!

Thanks for reading my question first of all! I hope it's not a silly one, but I am not a developer by any means! .
In my company, I have a simple web based chat application (like whatsapp, but not) for staff to communicate with. Again, like whatsapp, the ability to make voice calls using the app will be the next step. My question is, would it be possible to re-route/forward a web call via the app to a internal company landline (VOIP enabled) without costing the company?
