Can't Delete Facebook App on my Note 5!

Two things.
1. I noticed that I can't delete the Facebook app on my Samsung Note 5. I can only disable it. Why?
2. All the contacts that used to be linked to Facebook aren't anymore and I don't see a way to link them back. What happened?

Any help would be appreciated. I really want to remove the Facebook app if the contacts link doesn't work anymore.

Same with my note 4. It's preinstalled and worked horribly. Glad I moved on from that phone tbh. It would hang up all the time, force close. Are you seeing the same issues?

Also, if you go into Facebook settings, then scroll down to App Settings, There is a tab that says Continuous Contact Upload. I believe that will load the contact pics.
