Music from same album showing ungrouped in Android

I recently switched from my iPhone 4 to a Motorola Atrix and I'm having a small problem with the way music is grouped on my phone. Using motorola's sync app on my Macbook Pro, I synced my phone with music from my iTunes library and compilation albums, like soundtracks, are showing ungrouped in every music player I've tried (cubed, default, playerpro, poweramp, songbird, etc.). i.e. instead of having one entry for the "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" soundtrack when sorting by album, I have an entry for every song in the album displayed separately. Any idea how I can fix this? I apologize if this has been answered or I've posted to the wrong forum. I didn't find anything using forum search.
