I have just got the nexus 9 32gb tablet from google its really good. I have noticed that 16gb aren't selling well at all. So here is why I ask , what's the point of a 16gb tablet? Why not just make 32gb and 64gb or even 1tb. This would be the best combo for the nexus range and would help sales. There must be wearhouses full of nexus 9 16gb tablets. I know google can afford to lose money, but 16gb doesn't make sense to me at all.

Um. For people who don't need 32gb? Especially since almost every manufacturer overcharges for internal storage.

They exist so that Google can say that their tablet is $400 vs. $480.

i'm starting to think that the better question would be "what's the point of 32g?"

i bought 32g versions of both the n7 2012 and n7 2013. never once have i exceeded 16g. should have saved my money. along that line, my moto x has 16gb. i didn't bite this time.:)

Cost. Not everyone needs a ton of space.

^exactamundo, not everyone utilizes the space. An example could be someone who enjoys ebooks with their Kindle app and just happened to like the nexus 9 above other choices. Their books are on the cloud so they don't need to worry about the amount of space that they have.

Everybody don't want 32gb space and event can't use more the 16gb so why not to save some money by getting same thing for lower prize. 16gb is best choice for me.

I have a 16 gb nexus 5 and a 16 gb ipad mini and both have plenty of space for my needs. I do have a 64 gn BB playbook that I use for most of my music though...unless I'm using the cloud and/or spotify then I'm good with my nexus or ipad.
