Unable to reconnect Chromecast

The other night I went to cast from my Note 3 and the YouTube app. But it could not find my Chromecast.

I tried I other apps and even the Chromecast app could not find it.

I have tried resetting it and setting it back up, both through the app on my phone, and the website on my phone. I get most of the way though the process, past naming it and it says trying to connect to network. At that point, my phone swaps between chromecast and my wifi and says it can't connect.

I haven't tried using the wife's laptop yet, as I set everything up the first time though the phone.

Any ideas or things to try?

Is your note 3 on a 5GHz band? If so, for the setup only, it has to be on 2.4 GHz. If it's still not working, just try a laptop for setup.
