i have the task killer app, and i have the widget that u press on the homescreen and ends apps, but everytime i do it, it ends like 10 apps at a time, and i open up the task killer app to see there are apps running that i dont even open, such as the MP3 music app, the settings, things like that, even if i dont open them.....any ideas on how to stop these from running on their own? or do i just have to live with it? thanks in advance!

Why are you killing tasks. There's no need for that. Did you know it takes just as much battery to hold that open space in mem as it takes for an application to hold it in the background. You are doing more harm than good. Yes there is a way to stop them but it is completely unnecessary. When the system needs more memory to run an application it will take it from one that isn't being used. don't worry about it.
