Well well ... for the 4th time now, I've just received another credit card failed email. How many effing times do I have to delete my credit cards on file and re-add them back in?!?!?

Thank you for patience. Your credit card payment failed but don't worry, we're holding a device back for you. All we need is for you to update your payment method or, if you'd prefer, cancel the order. The best thing to do is to clear out all the info in Google Wallet and input the information you want to use for your purchase. If you choose to update your payment method, you can do so by signing into your Wallet account at wallet.google.com

And now this:

I apologize for the repeated emails. We are looking at it right now and we are expecting your item to ship in about 1-2 weeks depending on when your card gets authorized. Please bare with us while we get your order out to you as soon as we can.

Just a reminder, we will issue a refund separately in the amount of the shipping charge to your original form of payment shortly after your original order is charged and shipped.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

I called them again today and he said that the specialists were working on it for the past 3 days on it and would get back to me on it. When I asked them about the 48 hour resolution period promised, he had no answers. I lost my calm and decide to file my complaint on BBB. So there it is, I have failed my complaint. I suggest you guys do the same

Already done... But not expecting much, given what we have seen from other complaints... Will update if/when I hear back.

I just got an email directly from Good Wallet:
?Your Google Order #xx with Google Inc. is currently on hold. An attempt to charge your VISA xxx-xxx for $0.00 on Dec 5 failed??

Then I followed the link in the email to my Google Wallet and saw an update in the Wallet:
?Dec 5. An attempt to charge $0.00 to VISA xxx-xxx failed. You must update your payment information within 7 days or your order will be cancelled.?

This is the first update after Nov13 in my Google Wallet! Following ?update your payment information? link in Google Wallet to update my CC. My Google Wallet is immediately updated after updating my CC:
?Dec 5. You successfully updated your payment for this order to VISA xxx-xxx.?
And two pending charges ($1.00 authorization and full amount authorization) are showing up in my CC account. Looks like it is moving?

Now this is classic. I called Google Wallet just to make sure nothing was wrong with the way I added my credit card, etc. Ultimately, he patched me through the hardware department, i.e., the same CSRs I've been talking to for weeks. This girl, very nice, actually told me that she could see that at that very moment an agent was corresponding with a specialist. Unfortunately, she couldn't tell me (or see) what was actually being said between them. Oh well. She told me to wait 24-72 hours to see if, now that I readded a card, if it'll process. Love it.

The full amount does look like good news - although again it could just be nothing... Hope you keep moving forward.

i'm pretty sure some of us are following the thread at XDA but there are just so many post over there.

And this is something i found over there. Apparently people are getting new emails from Google Play to update their credit cards:

So I have an update for any LL3'ers, its actually of some significance. Google wallet has just emailed me, letting me know for the second time my first order had credit card issues. Difference is this time it's Google wallet, rather than Google Play, and it comes across as much more formal and official. It gave me a link directly to not only update my CC for my account, but to update my CC for that particular order. They stated my order is on "hold" and that I also have the answer to not update it and it would cancel the shipment. I updated my card (or my mother's) to my father's card, the one in which I purchased the 16gb one from the second round of nexi in Canada. Long story short, hopefully this FINALLY pushes through my 13th order.. Only problem is now if the 8gb arrives before the 16, the one I actually want now, I'll have to contain myself from opening it.. Could be worse though Keep your eyes peeled, LL3'ers, hopefully a similar email is on the way!

Interesting. Well, I removed the cards I've had in GW this whole time and added a new card that had never been added on GW. Hope this works!

I asked them the very same question when I got a similar email the first time. They told me it is not necessary to change the card but just update the one that I already have, since it might cause problems for the orders placed. Just shows how much they know

Just got the Google Wallet "please update your card" email that people in the XDA forum claimed they were receiving. I was able to update my card to a new one and I immediately got email confirmation that it was updated for my specific order placed on 11/13. This should hopefully do it! Fingers crossed.

Update

My order placed on 27th will be here today, everything went normally for once, absolutely zero issues.

I also received the email last nite saying my cc need to be updated for my order on the 13th to process, which of course is the same exact cc I used for the 27th order.
I updated my cc to a new one just to see if order on 13th will finally process.
I immediately received the successful payment update email.
There seems to be a glitch in their software and it has nothing to do with our credit cards, proof is that the same exact cc processed fine for the order on the 27th.
Well I also received a possible fraud alert call from the new CC as I did with the old CC on the 13th, I have never received these calls before when placing an online order yet google play seems to set them off.
What a mess!

I just contacted my credit card and told them to please let the phone purchase go through and not hold it up for any possible fraud detection reasons, haha. Can't take chances at this point :)

So I got two emails, one at 4:16am EST for my Dec 5 order (yeah, I ordered that yesterday) and it was approved and shipped(?) they have the tracking on that now.

After that, I got an email at 8:03am EST for my Nov 13 order. And it was declined with the same exact CC. I bet the reason being " An attempt to charge your VISA xxx-3202 for $0.00 on Dec 6 failed." Who ever charges $0.00? Anyway I updated it with another card and I got the email "You have successfully updated your payment information for Google Order #. Google Inc. may now charge and fulfill your order. " Does that mean they got the payment or they just see I changed it.

Anyways, why would they have a label for my Dec 5 order? I thought they wouldn't charge until it is ready to ship? Or is that the standard procedure now, giving people label/shipping number once it is ready to ship?

Guys,
I got the same email too. Do you know any bank or card that is going through fine? I had a chase card that got declined. Is it just chase or the problem exists across all banks?

well it says shipped on Google but on UPS "UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later." I bet they just print the label.

Mine is Chase too! But I have two separate orders, one went through the other didn't. So it is probably not Chase fault.
