Hello guys! Last night i finally recieved the notification about android 5.0 OTA download. Since i had a lot of junk on my nexus 5, i decided to do a factory reset and then download the update. However, when the device turned back on, the notification was nowhere to be seen and system updates says that my device is up to date. Any ideas? (The phone is not rooted)

Yeah, but I kind of have a problem with usb connection, so i wanted to play it safe and just update it OTA.

Same here! My lollipop update on my nexus 7 2013 also disappeared! Also, I didn't revert to factory settings. I think they pulled off the update from all nexus 7 devices.

I don't know man, I'm starting to get real paranoid... I don't want to be stuck on KitKat forever :P

It will come back again. Don't worry about that :)

Just so you know, you can also just do the update and then do the factory reset - same results.

Same here on nexus 4!
I had more than enough space (2GB), however warning was the same...not enough memory...

Someone has apparently changed his mind.
Hope to see OTA again soon.

I don't think that I had any issues with memory, it was the restore that created the whole mess

I have the same problem on my nexus 4.

Can anyone confirm that update will be back.

Here's what i have found: "There is a roll out schedule. Each nexus device has a unique id (this is not the imei or meid or hex or serial number or any other number that is persistent and assigned when the phone is manufactured) and this is used to select devices that receive the update. When you reset the phone you may have created a new id so now you are in a different batch from before... Still the update shouldn't take too long."

I did not reset, I tried downloading the update. but it failed because of network connectivity and later said my system is up to date.

I did not reset. I tried downloading and it failed due to connectivity. After sometime when I checked again it was gone.

The factory reset must have done something to the device where it no longer has access to the OTA at this time. I'd give it another day or so to see if the update is pushed back to the device.
