Can't install non-market apps

Hey all. I've noticed since installing 5.0 on my Nexus 5, I can no longer install non-market apps such as the Amazon App Store, T-Mobile VVM, etc. Now, before I get a slew of replies about ticking the "install non-market apps" button, I've done that already. I've even factory reset the phone. When I try to install them, it's like the install button is unresponsive. Is anybody else having this problem? I could really use some help here, as I've lost Swiftkey, Swype, and a number of other apps due to this problem. Thanks in advance.

Re: Can't install non-market apps

I've had this problem for a long time, too.
Do you have any tool/app which makes your display darker than normal?
I had an app like this and my screen was "too dark" to install a non-market app. ;)
My "Install" button didn't react.

You know, I thought about it for a minute and realised I had Lux Lite Dash installed on my phone. I uninstalled it, and everything came up roses. Anyhow, thanks for the tip, it was a lifesaver!
