WiFi will not stay on when in sleep
Can someone please tell me how to get rid of this POS "deep sleep" mode? I don't want it. Right now my phone will only get updates from the cellular network. Doesn't matter if it is connected to wifi. If it is asleep, it uses the cellular network first and only. It is ONLY after I manually press the button that it will connect to wifi and by that time it has already spent my money. When I turn off the cellular data, I don't get any notifications at all when connected to wifi unless the phone is awake.
Under Advanced settings in WiFi I have "Keep connected to WiFi when asleep" set to ALWAYS. It does nothing. Under battery I have the battery saver disabled. It does nothing. I have the latest update and OS and unless I spend $$ I don't get notifications on the phone when it is asleep and only connected to WiFi. There doesn't appear to be a single setting to change this. Does anyone know how to fix this?
