If its the first charger of a new battery nothing is normal. You won't get normal usage for at least 5-8 charge cycles.

the screen was on 2 hours and 5 mins, 33% of battery usage.

about 3 hours of standby, 5% of battery power is gone.

i think that asus didn't fix my tablet problem at all.

You, my friend, are one of the unluckiest members on this forum. I really hope you get a device one day that works as advertised!:)

When you say screen was on 2 hrs 5 min, 33% of battery usage, are you saying that 67% of battery was left after 2 hrs 5 min of screen time? Because that's not bad--that means you're on track for 6 hrs of screen-on time, which is pretty normal for average mixed use on a Nexus 7. But if you mean that your battery was almost depleted, and the screen was on 2 hrs 5 min, accounting for 33% of total battery usage, then that is abnormal.

i checked again today, one hour of screen on time, about 11-12% of battery power is gone.

and i wasn't playing games or chatting with the camera on.

i now have changed the live wallpaper to regular wallpaper, and i will see if that will decrease the battery power consumption.

So one hour of screen time with about 90% battery left is actually excellent. It means you're on track for almost 10 hours of screen on time, which I'm not sure I've been able to achieve on my own Nexus 7.

I also get 1 hour of screen on time per 10% battery. As mentioned above, that would result in roughly 10 hours total if you completely depleted the battery, which isn't good for lithium batteries, but that's for another topic.

That is pretty good for that amount of on screen time.
