So I got a new tablet, and I want to set it up with the apps I used on my old one. However this new one does not have the google store app on it, so I have to do it through the website. When I go to download an app on the site I select my device and tell it to install and it says that it will download the app soon.

I did this a couple days ago and it has not downloaded anything. Is there a way I can make it download now?

Thanks.

Welcome to AC :)
What device are you using? Most mainstream Android devices have to have GApps/services installed which includes the Play Store.

It is a Proscan plt8801k, and it does have an app that's called app stores. All said app does is open the google store in the web browser.

If you search "google play supported devices" on google, you'll find a list of supported devices, under PROSCAN there are only those devices:
PLT7100G (PLT7100G/PLT7100G)
PLT7130G (PLT7130G/PLT7130G)
PLT7602G (PLT7602G/PLT7602G)
PLT7804G (PLT7804G/PLT7804G)
PLT8802G (PLT8802G/PLT8802G)
PLT9602G (PLT9602G/PLT9602G)
PLT9606G (PLT9606G/PLT9606G)
