Removable battery for the GNexus?

I watched the live stream, listened to podcasts, read initial thoughts and searched the forums, but I may have missed this detail... I know there's no access to a microSD slot, but does this mean no access to replace/remove the battery? That would be a disappointment

It has a removable battery, it just doesn't have an SD card, it's all internal memory.

But it also the NFC tag on the battery. Will that cause any NFC issues when swapping batteries? Maybe everything for NFC is in the chip and the Barry just has the antenna.
