mp3 attachments on MMS
I moved to the Galaxy Nexus on ATT from a MyTouch 4G on TMobile. My voicemail system sends MP3s and a dictation to an email address... on my old phone, sending it to the #@tmomail.com resulted in a perfect system where the MP3 was an attachment that I could click and play in the media center. On my GNex I have tried to do the very same thing, it is sent to the #@mms.att.com and I get it weirdly formated and the attachment is not playable when you click on it.
Anyone know why or how I fix this? - 07-31-2012, 09:57 AM #2
Re: mp3 attachments on MMS
There may be an issue with the file size AT&T will let go through as MMS. Do you have the same issue sending a picture? It appears from what you posted that with T-Mobile you sent it as email, not as MMS.

Re: mp3 attachments on MMS
I have no idea what I did; I was tinkering with the settings trying to find something to enable it. Something I did made it start working... I think maybe somehow it wasn't automatically downloading the attachment or something -- because it seems to be working now.
