I'm from Crackberry.com. I'm currently a Crackberry and iPhone user. I am thinking of Android as I am into phones (excluding windows mobile) and got a chance to play with the G1 and it was a pretty good phone.

I too have always been a die hard crackberry fan but I am think HARD about getting the G1. What do you guys think?

I switched from my Pearl 8100 to the G1 a couple of days ago. My wife wanted the G1 so I did a lot of research and ended up getting one for her and one for me.

AND.... Dieter is right, there are more similarities between the Blackberry and the G1 than one would think.

The hardest part was gettingmy contacts and calendar to my G1, but I did it and all is well, plus the screen is 3 times the size of my Pearl, not to mention that the resolution is much better!!!!!

That is very likely that the new batch being shipped to Verizon stores and warehouses would have the update. However, ones that are already there waiting to be sold probably won't receive it until they are activated. Which you can opt not to do, unless you buy it in store and the rep activates it. They will definitely update it.

I watch multiple sites for MN and have been on the boards for years. I didn't accuse any single person. I just started a fact that there are tells on the boards.
