Pre-ordered online, live in PA, made in Korea...I don't know about the analogy...China makes some pretty good electronic products; Lenovo Think Pad comes to mind!
pretty sad, considering it used to be American....

Anyone recently bought the Korean made Verizon note 2 from amazon wireless?
that's gonna be hard to say, even the corporate verizon store here has both korean-made and chinese-made note 2s togeter at the same time, if you're lucky you"ll get the made in korea ones
Why is the Korean one better ?

I said "if you're lucky you"ll get the made in korea ones" NOT "Korean one better"
OK, so why is that more lucky than the China made Note 2 ? I'm just curious 'cause I don't have a clue.

Mine was made in China. I had put the poor girl at Best Buy through so much I couldn't have her go through their stock and try to find one made in Korea lol

all Note 2 phones are placed together... all she had to do was look at the label outside of the box(on the bar code)...
the Chinese-made ones only have the screen problem... but the Korean-made ones have other issues... so it's really a coin-toss.
You have got to love quality control. Makes me glad my car was made 100% in Japan to be honest. No issue with Honda cars made in America but I'm glad its not China or something.

Sorry to resurrect this thread.
Bought a Note 2 yesterday, made in China. The one I got on release day was made in Korea. Bought from the same Best Buy store in NYC.
Has anyone recently bought a Note 2 that was made in Korea?
