Why does WiFI connection for Galaxy 10.1 randomly fail?

Our Comcast WiFi connection consistently works for our laptops, but our 2 Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablets, on a seemingly random basis, can't access the WiFI connection. Problem will appear one day and then disappear the next. Our laptops do not experience the same non connectivity when the Galaxy 10.1 tablets can't connect.

I would check the security settings on the router to see if they are not working with the tablets.
