Tried it and one CSR said it would work, despite not being on the published list of compatible devices. Texts are inconsistent, and MMS are delayed 15 minutes to an hour or don't show up at all. Three days on with support and final conclusion is get the Pixel 6

Tech support had me try it both ways. It was better with the chat features turned off but still suffered from inconsistent receipt. They basically gave up and said that the phone is just not compatible.

If you have Google Fi VPN on turn it off then give it another try.
