Navigation voice guidance not working on Bell HDZ

What are the steps to enable voice guidance on the Google Navigation app? I can't get it to work.

Funny you should ask this, just before I came on the fourm I tried Google Nav and just tried the voice feature. It did'nt get the name right but it worked for me, just tried it again and it worked!! Have you gone to settings-then down to Voice input and output yet? Also on a Bell Desire z
