Can someone explain how to install FROYO?

I want to install the new 2.2 Froyo but i dont want to have problems with camera or other things.

Can someone link the instructions to make it happen? or explain the pros and cons about doing it now and not waiting for the official release.

you need to root inorder to load one now, go to xda and read and read the instructions before trying, all the ones out the cameras dont work, well one of the roms the front camera works, looks like cyanogen is about to release his froyo rom so hopefully all is fixed then

For FroYo? Look at my sticky wth all roms

@efrommel, wait a couple days and Cyanogen will have his Froyo Rom out. CM6. He has the cameras and camcorder working. He basically just started working with the EVO like on Sunday. I'm expecting the end of the week on this, but if he runs into problems then it could be longer. This is already running on the N1 and a couple others.
