Figured I'd ask this here since I know quite a few of the members that frequent this section do development for Android.
So I have a pretty strong background in .NET development (mainly ASP/ASP.NET since it's what I do for a living).
That said, I've been interested in getting into Android application development. Does anyone with a similar background as me have any idea how 'tough' of a tranisition it is? I've literally never done any mobile phone development and am pretty good at picking up new languages and what not.
What would be a good place to get started? Should I be able to go to Google's Android SDK/Dev page and pretty much have all I need to jump right in? Android development has always kinda taken a backseat for me just because when I looked around a while ago I didn't see a whole lotta resources other than Google.
Thanks guys
