EVO Gingerbread USB drivers.

I tried to search for this answer. The problem I am having is that after I upgraded to Gingerbread I can not get my HTC sync nor my use as disk drive to function. My computer and every computer I have tried (totaling 7) say unknown device. I want to know should I reflash it with hboot if others are able to access USB or is there a driver that I need. FYI I fried the USB driver from SDK but says it is not compasable and when I force it to use that USB says that it could not start the device error 43.
