how come i have to download a text message to see it's contents?

not really a problem, but just curious. sometimes ill get a text in my handcent inbox with a big arrow button. when i press it, it downloads the message, which is words, not a pic or anything. why is this happening? does this happen when a sender uses MMS instead of SMS?

Try this in Handset
Settings>receive message settings>(scroll all the way down and check) Auto download.



Yes it seems if a mms type message is sent? You will need to activate this
feature to have Handcent open mms+ messages automatically.
