Lagging on DamageControl 2.1

I tried using Honeybun, but it crashed for me and so I decided to use DamageControl. I am having some seriously annoying lag issues. Keyboard lag, call lag, etc. Is there a better sense ROM that I can use that is less laggy? Or is this just how 2.1 is? Any help would be appreciated.

I personally tried IcedHoneyBun and didnt encounter any issues. Also, there is Fresh 2.3 (based on 2.1, thats just HIS version number) but I havent tried it. Good luck.

That was the ROM I used. IcedHoneyBun.... it crashed while using WiFi Tether, and also took FOREVER to load.

Couldnt tell you, I didnt use Wifi Tether, but the only time it took forever to load was on initial boot, after that it ran fine. Did you flash the overclock? If you did, did you download overclock widget or SetCPU?

I really like Fresh Rom. I've been using it for a while now and it's great. When you first flash a rom it will take a very long time to startup the first time. Also flash the radio he has to get the best battery life for the rom.
