App download over carrier network problems

Having issues downloading over Verizon 4G LTE network. No problem downloading apps over WiFi. I can download pics, videos and surf web fine over 4g, but not apps. My phone is 4 weeks old and is the Google version. I also am not getting any error codes. It just keeps saying it's downloading but never does till I'm on WiFi.

Check the Play store setting for whether updates should download over wifi or mobile data.

The only setting that I see restricting to WiFi only is auto update and that is set to update anytime.

Maybe Verizon throttles or blocks Play store traffic to save on bandwidth.

HTC customer service must think the same, they suggested contacting Verizon to see if it was anything on their end.
