Whenever I play music in any music app, the controls on the lockscreen appear for a short while and then keep disappearing so have to unlock the phone to stop/start the music. I recently converted my UK HTC one into a google play edition (which I love). Could this be causing the problem?
In fact unless I start playing the music in the app itself the lockscreen doesn't appear at all. Even if I lock the phone with the music app open.
I have noticed that I can leave facebook etc open when I lock my phone and when I unlock it again the facebook app is still open. But when I try the same with the google music app or Poweramp when I unlock the phone it just goes to the desktop and the app shuts down.
