Just wondering where blink feed is in everyone's battery stats? For me it always seems to be really high up, currently second on list after chrome having used 8% and I'm down to 30%. I know blink feed is the whole launcher but just surprised its so high as don't think I ever even saw Google now launcher mentioned on my nexus 5. Is it the same for anyone else?

Blinkfeed itself, not the whole launcher, is a bit of a battery hog, probably due to the syncing. Mine is usually about 7% as listed by the system battery usage info, but Gsam finds it much lower since it factors in screen time and all that kinda stuff. In short it looks intense on the system info but isn't super bad when you factor in everything.

What I want to know is why blink feed is still in my battery usage stats without it being on my screens.

Unfortunately it can't be truly disabled like some other apps... This and the dot case software should be able to be disabled!

They also still load into memory from time to time.
